I chose to study at UTS for a combination of reasons. The main reasons were the reputation of the Business Faculty and their practical approach to learning. In addition I really wanted to experience life in Sydney and liked the fact that the campus was located downtown.
My bachelor degree was in political science. Having worked with marketing for 7 years, I felt the need to have a theoretical knowledge of the field and decided to undertake the master degree to better understand the dynamics in marketing.
The course offered a great combination of subjects with a good mix of individual and group projects. I found the degree to be very challenging and interesting, I also found that life in Sydney added to the positive experience.
Since my return to Norway, I have been working in an advertising agency as an account executive. The degree is relevant to this job as it makes me able to understand how my clients can achieve their marketing goals.
