Amanda Dewar - Graduate of the Master of Business in Marketing
Studying
marketing at the UTS Graduate School of Business has driven my career development
and led to personal growth.
I chose UTS as it has a reputation for quality lecturers and a practical learning style. Throughout the course my lecturers not only gave me the theoretical foundations but continually applied those frameworks to real life business situations.
A number of the lecturers were industry professionals with a solid foundation in business practices and their applications. I was able to learn something one week and apply it to my job the next.
Completing my degree has fast-tracked my career development. I am now the Market Development Consultant with Finsia - the Financial Services Institute of Australasia. This exciting new role allows me to utilise the skills I learnt within my degree everyday by performing external analysis on the market environment and internal analyses of our customers and client base.
