Current Position:
General Manager Asia, eProgram Asia.
I am responsible for leading, developing, managing, driving and growing business in Asia. The products and solutions are grouped under the umbrella of Interactive Real-Time Enterprise Performance Management and include Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Business Performance Management (BPM), Billing and Enterprise Dash-Boards and Balanced Score Cards.
Essentially providing enterprises with the knowledge and capabilities to provide a finger on the pulse of their business and the creation and management of knowledge to drive superior business results.
Most enjoyable part of your job?
The ability to truly understand what makes companies tick in terms of success and identifying and addressing the key issues that will take the enterprise beyond traditional or company enforced frontiers. In other words, helping clients help themselves.
Worst part of your job?
Long, long, long hours and lots of travel.
Your first paid job?
Postal assistant delivering mail.
Recommended antidote for work stress?
Work as compulsory stress is optional. In other words you can control stress if you want to as it is an internal issue. I have never come across a situation where stress helped!
How do you being your working day?
As energetic as I finished. To me, work is a state of mind. If you are smiling, energetic, caring and genuinely positive so will the people be around you. I am a supreme optimist and start the day ready for all challenges, which I quickly turn into opportunities. I was once asked how I got up each morning my response was it is not an issue if you dont go to sleep!
Who inspires you and why?
The people who work for and with me, because they are working for and with a demanding person and in general I see them struggle and grow by the experience.
Whose job do you most covet?
Mine. Why? I selected it, I made it and I am totally responsible for making it an enjoyable, rewarding experience, the results of which are high value to the clients and great assets to my company.
