MBA Graduate Profile

Adrian Raftery - The UTS MBA gave me the confidence to establish my own accountancy practice. See UTS MBA Courses.

Having completed my undergraduate degree at UTS, I chose UTS for my MBA because I was very impressed with the standard of lecturing, the close proximity to the city, the respect a UTS degree holds in the business community and the practicality of the course subjects to real life business issues.

The MBA program allowed me to hone in on some of the 'softer skills' in business, such as leadership, writing, communication and presentation. My technical skills were already pretty advanced (due to an undergraduate business degree and work experience) but I lacked the confidence in these other skills which my MBA provided.

The ability to look at the bigger picture gave me the confidence to establish my own accountancy practice in 1997.
