Enrolment FAQs

  1. How many subjects can I register for? - See Course load.
  2. How do I know if UTS is offering the subjects this Semester? - See UTS:Timetable (UTS web)
  3. How can I check my enrolment? - See One Stop Student Administration (UTS web)
  4. What subjects can I register for?
Students can only register for subjects:
    • listed in approved course structure (generally elective components must be components of chosen course).
    • where you meet pre-requisites (this doesn't include subjects you seek exempt).
    • from your chosen major/sub-major (please consider major/sub-major before enrolment).
    • from your study level ( undergraduate students can't register for postgraduate subjects and visa versa.)
NOTE: you cannot graduate until you have completed the correct course structure.
  5. If I enrol in the Graduate Certificate/Diploma will I automatically transfer to next course?
After you finish Certificate/Diploma you won't automatically transfer (articulate) to next level course. You can either graduate and reapply for next course or apply for internal course transfer. By applying for an internal course transfer you won't receive a certificate, instead the subjects completed will be counted as subjects in new course.
