Re-enrol Info for Continuing Students

(including students returning from Leave of Absence)

All postgraduate students who will not complete their studies in Spring 2007 or Summer 2007/2008 will be required to formally re-enrol online for the 2008 Academic Year  from 19 November 2007 and before 21 December 2007.

Please Note:
  • If Autumn 2008 will be your last semester of study, you will only be required to enrol for Autumn 2008
  • If you will be on Leave of Absence for Autumn 2008, you will be required to enrol for Spring 2008 only

Autumn Semester
Autumn Semester commences on 25 February 2008 and the last day to enrol in Autumn Semester subjects is 7 March 2008. Subjects can be withdrawn from Autumn Semester 2008 without financial and academic penalty until 31 March 2008 (census date).

Spring Semester
Spring Semester commences on 28 July 2008 and the last day to enrol in Spring Semester subjects is 8 August 2008. Subjects can be withdrawn from Spring Semester 2008 without financial and academic penalty until 29 August 2008 (census date).

See GSB Summer Session for Summer Session Registration information.

Undergraduate students must refer to Undergraduate Re-enrolment (Business web).

Variation of Study Plan

Students who wish to change their Major and/or Sub-major options are advised to submit an E-Request (UTS web) six (6) weeks PRIOR to start of semester.

Due to LIMITED places in subjects; students lodging an e-Request for "Changes to Plan" outside of the specified timeline, undertake the risk of not being able to enrol into the subject(s) within the new Major/Sub-major substructure(s).

For further information/ instruction see E-Request (UTS web).

Student ID Card

Most continuing students should have a 'perpetual' Student ID Card that is valid for the duration of a student's enrolment at UTS, unlike previous cards that were valid for only 1 year and had to be re-issued every year. Upon completion of study, perpetual cards will be de-activated.

If however you have a card that expires in 2008, please go to the Student Centre to obtain a new 'perpetual' Student ID Card.

Further information for local/ eligible students requiring 2008 Travel Concession will be available in January 2008, see Student ID Cards (UTS web).

Important Dates

For a list of important dates, such as semester commencement dates, last date to add/ withdraw subjects, exams period and non-teaching weeks and more see Principle Dates (UTS Handbook) and/ or Keydates (UTS web).
