Top ranked in teaching and learning in 2007, 2008 and 2009
UTS:Business has been top ranked for teaching and learning by the Australian Federal Government for 2007, 2008 and 2009. Business, Law and Economics at UTS has again placed in Band A1 and won substantial funding in the Commonwealth Government's 2009 Learning and Teaching Performance Fund (LTPF).
Recent graduates were asked to report on the attainment of Generic Skills, experiences of Good Teaching, their Overall Satisfaction, and if they are in Full-Time Employment or Further Full-Time Study. Other indicators used to determine the rankings were retention and progression rates. UTS Business, Law and Economics took out the Number 1 place for graduate employment rates (amongst all Sydney based universities) and we were at the top for good teaching and overall graduate satisfaction amongst ATN universities.
This is a significant achievement for UTS Business and recognition of the great quality of our teachers, program staff and support structures.
